How it all began

Main Bazaar is the liveliest street in Delhi: rickshaws, horns, spices, and people from every corner of the world. And right in the middle of it all, there's a Moshiach flag on a rooftop, the smell of fresh coffee, and someone asking, “Have you eaten yet?”

We came here as emissaries of the Lubavitcher Rebbe to build a Chabad House, so that every Jew who comes to Delhi has a place to go. Thousands of travelers and hundreds of business people from all over the world pass through. They drop in for coffee, a kosher meal, tefillin, a break from the heat, or just some good advice.

We're close to the metro and the main railway station, about five minutes' drive from Connaught Place. And above all, close to the soul.
